Each Donegal thatched cottage has been architect designed to combine the very best of olde-world charm with the full conveniences of modern living. The whole concept of our Donegal Cottages has been designed to turn the clock back, help slow you down, leave you in the right mood to savour, once again, the simple pleasures in life - like an early morning walk on a deserted beach, or a red sunset over Aranmore Island. Each cottage accommodates up to seven persons in spacious comfort and comprises porch with traditional half-door, large livingroom (20' x 14') with old fashioned high ceiling, open hearth turf fireplace, pine table and dresser, sugan rocking chairs, modern pine fitted kitchen, bathroom and toilet, three large bedrooms (one double bed, five singles) including a charmingly quaint loft bedroom (all bed frames in natural pine). Master bedroom is en-suite. Side by side with the traditional you enjoy the full comfort of oil-fired central heating, washer/dryer and dishwasher. |
